Gem is the most precious currency in PvZ adventures game. The amount give at star is limited (100 Gems), and you will need to waste some gems to get past the initial tutorial when you first play the game.

Sun is the resource or currency used in battles. You need sun mainly to place your Palnts along the path to fight against Zombies. Each Plant has their own Sun cost, the more powerful the Plant is, the more Sun is needed.

Fog is the Zombie equivalent of sun. It is the resources or currency used in battles. Unlike sun, you do not need Fog to place the Zombies since the Zombies come in waves automatically without needing any resources.

Plants are the main weapon in PvZ adventures against the villains, Zombies. The players are mainly in human side that use Plants to defense their RV/Houses from Zombie invasion, although occasionally you can swap role and use Zombies to attack other players.

Peashooter is the most fundamental and iconic Plant in PvZ Adventures game. It is a pure shooting Plant with no other fancy special effect like ice freeze, fire burn, instant kill or whatsoever.

Sunflower is the basic Sun-producing Plant which provide Sun for Placing Plants on battle field. Sun will drop from the sky automatically in specific time interval but if you need more Sun, you need Sunflower.

Wall-nut is the basic defensive Plant in PvZ Adventures. Instead of putting beside the path, this Plant is placed on the path to block Zombies from walking over it unless it is completely eaten.

Most of the Plants are permanent on battle field except one-instance Plant like Cherry Bomb. Cherry Bomb will explode, upon placed on path, and instantly kills all Zombies in the area of effect.

Beet is the shortest range shooting Plant in PvZ Adventures. Its design resembles beetroot look. Due to its shot range, it is hard to be used effectively because it gets eaten easily and need to spend 25 Sun to revive.
